Marchand-Tawse, Rue de Vergy (lieu-dit site), Morey-Saint-Denis AOP (v8 2019
(regular retail price: $185)
Marchand-Tawse was established in 2011 by Pascal Marchand and Canadian entrepreneur Moray Tawse. They are known for a meticulous respect for the terroir and aim to produce wines that are intense, memorable, and reflective of their origins. The 2019 Marchand Tawse Morey-Saint-Denis "Rue de Vergy" is a Pinot Noir from a specific parcel within the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation. It's known for its high-toned floral aromas, density, and good acidity. The wine displays a perfumed nose, with notes of plum and black cherry, along with earthy and mineral undertones.
Recommended Pairing: Our NINE-TEN Smoked Liberty Duck Breast or Pan-Roasted Cascade Creek Lamb Loin.
